The salmon smoked herring fillets from Lykkeberg 1899 are big and beautiful. They are smoked the same way as one would do with salmon. Afterwards they are handpacked in oil to make the herrings become firm as well as to bring out the characteristic taste of salt, which is well-known from smoked salmon.
The cold smoked herrings taste like heaven together with spinach custard on a toasted crouton – serve them as an appetiser or snack for your guests.
